AniCura, one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality veterinary care for companion animals, enters a new region in Norway when Molde Dyreklinikk in north-western Norway joins AniCura.
AniCura entered Norway in 2012 when five veterinary clinics in the Oslo region joined the company. Since then, 46 clinics from Mandal in the south to Tromsø in the far north have become part of AniCura. With the acquisition of Molde Dyreklinikk in Møre and Romsdal in the north-western part of Norway, AniCura expands its care offering to a new region.
- Møre and Romsdal is a new and highly interesting region for AniCura with an increasing demand for high-quality veterinary care. Molde Dyreklinikk enjoys a strong reputation among the region’s pet owners and is a well-recognised clinic among referring veterinarians, says Erik Hauge, Country Manager, AniCura Norway.
Molde Dyreklinikk was founded in 1992 by veterinarian Astri Nilsson, moved to new premises in 2002 and refurbished in 2014. Its 270 sqm includes three examination rooms, x-ray, ultrasound, dental unit and a laboratory. The clinic employs eight veterinary professionals who treat 7 600 patients every year, of which many are referred from several smaller clinics throughout the region. Molde Dyreklinikk is quality certified by the Norwegian Veterinary Association.
- We are excited to become part of such a strong network of veterinary professionals with values similar to ours. Together, we can improve quality of care and provide new development opportunities for our employees, says Monica Folland, new practice manager at Molde Dyreklinikk.
Molde Dyreklinikk became part of AniCura in March 2018.
