On the initiative of National Veterinary Institute and The Public Health Agency in Sweden, a new laboratory network has been formed with aim of promoting quality standards and surveillance of antibiotic resistance and zoonotic diseases in veterinary medicine. Participants are veterinary medicine laboratories and companies within the laboratory industry in Sweden. All Swedish AniCura animal hospitals performing diagnostic bacteriology participate in the network and will contribute and benefit from further knowledge sharing.
