On November 11th AniCura’s new specialist referral centre in Haaglanden in the Netherlands was inaugurated. The specialist referral clinic marks AniCura’s first greenfield opening in the country since its establishment in the Netherlands in 2015 and demonstrates AniCura’s strong position within specialised veterinary care, its long term perspective and willingness to invest behind its talented local veterinary teams.
The specialist referral centre, spread over a total surface of 500 square metres divided over three levels, holds surgery theatres, lab and examination rooms, a large lecturing hall and a 64 slice CT (computed tomography) as well as equipment for ultrasound, arthroscopy, neuro surgery, dermatology and ophthalmology.

The referral centre is an initiative of AniCura Diergeneeskundig Verwijscentrum Dordrecht, one of the first clinics in the Netherlands to join AniCura. In total AniCura the Netherlands employs eighteen veterinary specialists of which thirteen are European/American specialists, Diplomates.
