About the job
Take part in leading the digitalization of European veterinary care.
We shape the future of veterinary care together through co-operation and knowledge sharing in a values-based organization. We have a common passion for developing our business and offer the best service to our patients and customers; pets and their owners.
We are ready to accelerate our digitalization journey and are looking to hire a group manager for vet-centric digitalization. It is a central role focusing on identifying, evaluating and supporting the implementation of new solutions to improve pet care and ways of working in all of our 225 clinics across Europe.
The role
It is a highly stimulating job where you are expected to be a comfortable change leader with the potential to change a whole industry through use of modern technologies. This role requires both a strategic and operational mindset. Understanding the complexities and challenges on clinic level is vital for the success of this role, but it is something you can learn on the job if you have not worked in a veterinary business before. Some sort of medical experience is therefore of advantage but not a requirement.
As the group manager for vet-centric digitalization you will have the opportunity to build up a small international team consisting of project managers and implementation managers.
You will report to the group chief digital officer and the role can be based in any of our offices around Europe such as Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Munich or Amsterdam.
Your profile
You enjoy creating value through digitalization and thrive in a growing business where you can contribute to a higher life quality for pets and their owners.
You are expected to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in either engineering, business or medicine
- A minimum of 8 years qualified work experience within digitalization, operational leadership or management consulting, preferably in the health sector, manufacturing or retail
- A deep understanding of the many different dimensions of successful change management
- Previous experience from managing a team
- Experience from working in an international environment
As a person we believe you are curious and improvement-oriented. You are self-motived and knows how to sort through details in order to point out the road ahead and you enjoy interacting with many different types of people.
