Many clinics within AniCura operate under different quality standards as for example ISO-certifications and address environmental impact locally. Over time, AniCura’s ambition is to become a role model in the industry in taking environmental responsibility.
Four areas have been identified as key initially:
- Waste
- Procurement
- Transport
- Energy
Some of our initiatives include a new and joint supplier for waste handling to follow-up and reduce waste generation, the shift to renewable energy, implementation of new cleaning methods to reduce usage of chemicals and review of in-clinic order flows to reduce transports.
